Is an orangery the same as a sunroom?
While there are similarities between an orangery and a sunroom, they are not the same. An orangery and a sunroom are both types of home extensions that incorporate elements of glass, allowing natural light to enter the space. However, there are distinct design differences between the two. An orangery typically features more brickwork and has a solid roof with a lantern or skylights. What’s the difference between a conservatory and an orangery?
Traditionally, the main difference between an orangery and a conservatory was that orangeries featured brick pillars and a lantern roof, giving the appearance of a full-blown extension whereas conservatories were usually made from glass or polycarbonate panels. Nowadays both orangery and conservatory style extensions can be highly customised to suit your needs.
How much does a new orangery cost?

How long does an orangery take to build?
Once your order is placed, our surveyor will be in contact within 7 days. Once the survey is complete, an installation co-ordinator will be in touch within 3 weeks to confirm an installation date that suits both parties. Fitting schedules remain flexible due to unforeseen circumstances, such as the weather.
Do you repair orangeries?
Yes! We regularly repair misted uPVC orangeries across Hampshire and West Sussex. Even better, once the work is complete, we will guarantee the repair work for up to 10 years. Ideal!
