How much does a door cost?
Every door installation is custom-made to accommodate your home and its specific needs - therefore, you won’t find any prices on our website as our door prices are completely bespoke to your project.
Get a priceDo you need planning permission for replacement doors in a conservation area?
Unless your property is listed or covered by an Article 4 Direction, you shouldn’t need to apply for planning permission to make minor improvements to your doors. However, it's likely you will need planning permission if you're building something new, changing the use of the building (e.g., from commercial to residential), moving the position of a door, or if it’s a leasehold property.

What makes a door energy efficient?
When purchasing a new door, always look out for the rainbow Door Energy Rating label (similar to those found on household appliances). Rated from A to E, A being the most efficient, to comply with current Building Regulations new doors require a U-value of 1.8 W/m²K or a Door Energy Rating of E (or less).
Do you repair double glazed doors?
Yes! We regularly repair uPVC double glazed doors across Hampshire and West Sussex. Even better, once the work is complete, we will guarantee the repair work for 10 years. So if you're uPVC door wont shut properly then don't hesitate to get in touch with a member our of team.

Can I view a range of door products at a local showroom?
Yes! Dad has two extensive showrooms based in Fareham and Chichester, where you can view the full range of uPVC, aluminium, composite, and timber door products at your leisure. They’re open Monday to Saturday, 10am-5pm.
